This is a wine that I normally would not buy, native New York red grape have never done much for me. I was looking for a red wine for a party, we would be having typical party snacks, pretzels, cheese-it, cheese and crackers, mix nuts, etc. The box of Bully Hill appealed to me, the box said it was a "New York State Native Red Table Wine", so I purchased the box. The wine has a nice fruity aroma. The first taste there was more fruit then I am normally find in the red wines I typically purchase. This brought out some memory of the taste of Welsh's grape when I was much younger. All in all it was a good fun wine to drink. It went well with the snack, but I am not certain what type of meal I would match this with. Maybe something hot and spicy.

This wine was good enough to encourage me to try other different wine , I might be surprised.
